As the year comes to a close, I appreciate the opportunity I've been granted to reflect on my past year. And what stands out the most is the distance between the goals I've set out at the top of the year and what I've accomplished during the year. Every year people across the globe use New Years Day to kick off a new start to their lives. We see people sharing New Year's Resolutions that confess a person's pitfalls while concurrently sharing that same person's strategy to better this pitfall. Many of those same people evaluate the difference between their New Year's goal and their year-end's actuality. Like myself, we grow briefly disappointed with ourselves only to become motivated to do the same thing at the top of the next year. But why should I have to wait until a New Year to begin bettering myself? One should always be in pursuit of betterment irregardless of the season known for new starts. I'd like to encourage you to begin your new start today! (I am. =P)
