“Once I upon a time not long ago” [Slick Rick].. I was sitting in an exposition full of rich wisdom…..fresh insights….. and….. susceptible propositions but ironically the statement that would have the least significance to many unconventionally impacted me the most. Vernon Buckmon said “Anyone can be part of the solution.” . . . . .oh really?? I wonder…can ‘solution’ be a pun. Demographically, could it be the solution full of good solutes but more evil solvents that leave a filthy outcome?. . . . . Or is it the solution that will one day emancipate our society from the self-constituted filth that deprives our youth of positive advancement by confining our mindsets to only brainstorm in the filth we’ve created?...I wonder….I wonder by reading this have I affected you at all…I wonder.................Which solution will you indulge yourself in?

Paideia

Paideia is a Greek word that means education or instruction. But its the philosophy of paideia thats eye capturing. The Greeks took this idea to educate a man to his quintessence. His most true and purest form to his "real and genuine nature". This empowered their society and thus reflected in thier goverment, structure and marality of the citizens becuase everyone was intellectually sound. They knew who they were, where they came from, and where they were destined to be. It wasnt acceptable to jut teach someone what they should know and move on...that was not tolerated. They were encouraged to "fall in love with the youths they mentored." So it was love and erudition tha distinguished the Greeks from other nations and societies and subsequntly made them the prototype to many leadership structures today.

Seeing that the Greeks were people of beauty and cherished aesthetics...i would say that the implentation of this process to empower thier people was also beutiful in thier eyes........

So what's different between them and America??

Two Things

. . . . Were willfully ignorant as Obama would say. We are repeatedly encountered by wise words, philosophies, and insights..but we quickly turn our shoulder becuase we are afraid to accept that knowledge..and why...I dont know...it still puzzles me. Don't you know ignorance is not a defense. No one can ever know everything...but the wise accumulate as much knowledge as possible.

. . . . .Or We know all the information possible but wont share it with anyone. That's the dumbest thing a smart person can do. By cynically gaining all this knowledge...you are only hurting yourself. Albert Einstien once said "the value of a man is not determined by how much he recieves but by how much he gives." While refraining from sharing your wisdom you will always miss your opportunities to be acknowledged and recieve accolades for your intellectual advancement.

Furthermore to teach once is to learn twice. So knowing alot is great but not thoroughly understanding it useless.

In closing...gain as much knowledge as possible and share as much of it as much as you can. We need to empower our society to help chisel away away the enormous mountains of mishap that have ben bestowed upon us. You can start small by choosing friends strategically. You should have some have one person thats smarter than you and one person dumber than you...as dumb as that sounds lol. You want to learn as much as you can from that smarter being to level out the discrepancy between his level of intellect and yours. Then you want to teach it to the dumber one to bring him up to your level of intellect and to gain a better understanding of your wisom for yourself...remember the importance of Paideia...apply it as much as you can.

Love........



Love is a balance beam....



A balance beam with time on one side.....



And affection on another side....



Have you ever noticed that when you meet someone thats really affectionate you are quick to tell them you love them faster than you would if you met someone thats less affectionate? That's becuase your mind and body is slowly becomes programmed to touching that person, holding that person, and just being up under that person's nose. Once you've been programmed enough . . .not being with that person and makes you miss thier affection and subsequently makes your mind reminisce on the "good times.".... furthermore while thinking of that person all the time makes you miss thier affection and makes your mind saturated with the thought of thier presense...therefore..it engenders a feeling and constitutes your mind process to rationalize your bond between each other......and you come to the conclusion that your in "LOVE".



So I leave you on this note. . . If you are the clingy type...youre going to have alot of experience with "love" and thus learn alot about it from experience. BUT...that isnt the best way to find out if someone is right for you. You should take the time to see how that person challenges your intellect and how you two cope on a mental level...before you get seriously,physically affectionate. If you want to know how long it might take for someone to tell you that they love you....take into account how intimate your relationship is.

We might wipe our asses see a new color and say “ooooo”…as in (YAY!! A new color. I was tired of boring brown) or “ooooo” (its time to give Doctor Op a call)…We do this repeatedly without giving any type of consideration to the causes of these affects. Well….here have it broken down for you.

Green – Usually a reaction to something in the diet: either vegetables or food additives. N.W.F....stands for N[egroes] W[ith] F[utures]. This group was created because unfortunately us "negroes" seem to be belittled by society becuase of our ignorant, nonchalant peers and most previous generations. This movement is not only to prove a point that there are young auspicious black men and women but its a movement that will later in life take over the fields of lawyers, politicians, business execs, psychologist, etc.and indirectly improve the status of our black youth! This will pave an easier path for the black youths coming up behind us and beyond. If we dont step up now. . .who is!!

On another note... yes we are aware that the "N" in N.W.F. is a bit controversial. We understand if you would let a title deter you away from a critical social cause, but take a second to think of it this way. Back when slavery was in place and the civil rights movement was highly prevalent they use the term "Nigga" in a derrogatory manner to keep us under a mental bind. We actually gave into it and at times thought that our low status to America was inevitable. But look at us now....by rising above the standards we have shown amazing growth from that time period. We decided to keep the "N word" in the title becuase it marks our past and will make us aware of how far we have come and instill a drive that will 'compel us to impede further and further in the American Dream.' Don't put the emphasis on one word in the title but put the emphasis on the one mission of this movement....to rise the standards of the African American staus quo.

With that in mind...We are N.W.F......Catch on...or Catch up!

Living above the level of mediocrity

I really wanted to stray away from sacreligious literature on this blog and not not be so pious, but DAMN my pastor put it to me this morning. As many times as I’ve tried to tell people not to become complacent and always strive for more because they deserve it, I could never break it down hoe my pastor broke it down for me today. I usually use a quote from Martin Luther King Jr. but he gave it to out of a biblical perspective. He came out of Colossians 3 and spoke about complacency, strive, and strategies to eliminate both. He said many people just take detriments and don’t persevere through them. He went on to say that titles don’t mean anything! Titles only set people in complacency and won’t work to go further than what they have already accomplished. Titles only can give people time; time to go further than what they have already been accomplished. This message was so on target for me and challenged me go above and beyond. That’s why I feel compelled to share this with the people. Take this strategy and use it well.

5 steps to striving further
1. Elevate your pursuit
a. What you’re chasing after shouldn’t be the same thing everyone
else is chasing after.
2. Elevate your priority
a. Choose your priorities carefully. Set your mind on what you
want and keep them set.
3. Elevate you pondering
a. “How you think determines who you are.”
b. “As a man thinketh, so is he”
c. Get your mind out the gutter. [literally] Raise your thinking to
correlate with your aspirations not with your current state.
d. Eliminate some your attitudes
4. Eliminate some actions
a. Some of the things you do are hindering you from advancement.
Eliminate them and continue to go further.
5. Mortify your members
a. Destroy some evil innate attributes in your character.
i. Sexual Immorality
ii. Impurity
iii. Lust
iv. Evil Desire
v. Greed
b. Nobody wants something that everyone has….or had.
6. Cultivate
a. You have what it takes to get to your desired destination. Now all
you have to do I polish and cultivate your skills until you reap
the blossom. And when you do reap the blossom . . . sow another
seed.
b. The reason many people are still miserable and poor is because
they Pass Over Opportunities Repeatedly.
