Got a laptop? Facebook? Myspace? Blog?

How many of you have gotten laptops for your graduation present? How many of you sit on your laptop all day figuring out what it can do and perusing through your facebook notifications? How many of you know how harmful this can be with to you.

A laptop forces you to hold your thigh close together thus leaving your scrotum in a vulnerable position. A lap top can reach up operating temperatures over 70 degrees Celsius, subsequently raising the temperature of the left scrotal by 2.6 degrees Celsius and the right by 2.8 degrees Celsius. This reduces the sperm cell count and increases your infertility. SMH.

Suggestions:
1. Get a portable laptop stand.

2. Get a wooden board or something to separate your legs from
the laptop computer.

3. Just make your laptop stationary on a table.

4. . . . .look up more suggestions.

Also…The radioactive waves can produce colon cancer…haven’t thoroughly researched it yet but I promise to get it to you.

On another note:

Did you know that while you are commenting on that picture or opening new windows to play your favorite music, you can very well be contributing to your physical harm? While typing extensively and mouse-clicking lavishly, you are putting a great deal of pressure on your median nerve. The median nerve runs from your forearm to the tips of your thumb and the 3 closest fingers to it. In the wrist area your bones form this bridge over the top and bottom of the nerve, thus making a tunnel. The bottom bridge is much skinnier than the top bridge, so consequently the bottom bridge is much more flexible. When indulging in any type of wrist movement, the bridge will cave inwards, putting pressure on the Median Nerve. This is perfectly normal…the problem lies in keeping the wrist bent for extended periods of time. This constitutes the Carpel Tunnel Syndrome.

“Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs when the median nerve, which runs from the forearm into the hand, becomes pressed or squeezed at the wrist. The median nerve controls sensations to the palm side of the thumb and fingers (although not the little finger), as well as impulses to some small muscles in the hand that allow the fingers and thumb to move. The carpal tunnel - a narrow, rigid passageway of ligament and bones at the base of the hand - houses the median nerve and tendons. Sometimes, thickening from irritated tendons or other swelling narrows the tunnel and causes the median nerve to be compressed. The result may be pain, weakness, or numbness in the hand and wrist, radiating up the arm. Although painful sensations may indicate other conditions, carpal tunnel syndrome is the most common and widely known of the entrapment neuropathies in which the body's peripheral nerves are compressed or traumatized.” (http://www.ninds.nih.gov/)

Thankfully, in opposition to the aforementioned problem, There are ways to get out of this. They have surgery now and also other types of treatment. Look into this site --> http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/carpal_tunnel/detail_carpal_tunnel.htm#115103049 . For ways to keep this bad boy confined to non-existence…just take frequent breaks from extensive straining of the wrist and stretch it every now and then.
